Hi Kalvin,
How could I control the external links which are pointing to low quality websites/spammy websites/ or websites with duplicate content? Would you please give some suggestion.

Thanks in advance

Try Google Web Master tool for checking back links from that, sure you will get solution.

I guess you could look for odd anchor texts (i.

e.

: some spammy stuff) if you wanted to keep track of spam links.

And if your website has external links which are pointing to low quality websites/spammy websites/ or websites with duplicate content, then you are heading at DEAD-END search engine optimisation linking.

However having a quality external links will definitely allows you to improve SEO rankings.

For understanding negative external link you need to check manually whether the link is ok according to Google or other major search engines.

You may check out the black hat technique of the link and then remove the link.
