Google Bought Meta web:
Google has Acquired Metaweb, an Internet information database start-up to improve its core Internet-search on the web. This site is a new discovery by the Internet search giant through which it would connect and interpret data from numerous social networking and data gathering web sites including Facebook, Twitter, Netflix, Daylife, and Freebase.
